Custom Feature Wall With Fireplace and Lighting – Fresno

This project took us on a 7-hour journey to Fresno, where the homeowner gave us a rare kind of freedom—complete creative control. With only the wall dimensions provided, we were trusted to design and build a custom feature wall that would bring a fresh, modern statement to the space.

The result is a bold, elegant installation that centers around a recessed electric fireplace and a wall-mounted TV. We used high-contrast stone panels with striking black and gold veining, paired with vertical dark wood slats to add both depth and texture. Integrated LED light strips along both edges add a contemporary glow and highlight the feature wall’s sculptural form.

Backlighting behind the floating TV panel creates visual separation, adding dimension while keeping the aesthetic clean and polished. Every element, from layout to lighting, was chosen to balance drama with refinement—making the most of the trust the client placed in us.

This one-day build turned into a showpiece the client was thrilled with, and it now serves as the heart of their living room.
